Description
A classic breakfast platter featuring scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, sausage, pancakes, and hash browns.
Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 patties sausage
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 large egg
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large potatoes
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Flip halfway through. Set aside.
- Step 3: Cook sausage patties in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
- Step 4: In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Step 5: Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Drop batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until bubbles appear on the surface and edges start to dry. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes or until golden brown.
- Step 6: In a bowl, combine grated potatoes and melted butter. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Spread on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Step 7: Scramble eggs in a bowl and set aside.
- Step 8: To assemble the platter, place scrambled eggs, cooked bacon, sausage patties, pancakes, and hash browns on a large platter or individual plates. Serve hot.
