Description
Pan-seared pork chops smothered in a sweet and tangy apple cider glaze
Ingredients
- 0.25 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 4 1 1/2 pounds pork chops
- 0.5 cup apple cider
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
- Step 2: In a small saucepan, combine apple cider, honey, Dijon mustard, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes
- Step 3: Season pork chops with salt and pepper
- Step 4: In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned
- Step 5: Transfer pork chops to a baking dish and brush with apple cider glaze
- Step 6: Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through
- Step 7: Let rest for 5 minutes before serving
