Ingredients
- 0.5 cucumber
- Sesame seeds
- 0.25 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 0.25 cup tuna
- 0.5 avocado
- 0.5 cup rice vinegar
- 0.5 cup imitation crab meat
- 1 sheet nori seaweed
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup short-grain Japanese rice
Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the sushi rice according to the package instructions.
- Step 2: In a small saucepan, combine the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Heat over low heat, stirring until the sugar and salt dissolve.
- Step 3: Allow the vinegar mixture to cool, then stir it into the prepared sushi rice.
- Step 4: Cut the avocado and cucumber into thin slices.
- Step 5: Lay a sheet of nori seaweed flat on a sushi mat or piece of parchment paper.
- Step 6: Spread a thin layer of sushi rice onto the seaweed, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.
- Step 7: Arrange the avocado, cucumber, crab meat, and tuna horizontally across the middle of the rice.
- Step 8: Roll the sushi using the mat or parchment paper, applying gentle pressure.
- Step 9: Repeat with the remaining ingredients to create multiple rolls.
- Step 10: Slice the rolls into 8 equal pieces each.
- Step 11: Serve with soy sauce and garnish with sesame seeds.
