Description
A decadent baked potato loaded with crispy bacon, melted cheddar cheese, and scallions.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 0.25 cup scallions
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper
- 6 slices bacon
- 4 large baking potatoes
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: Scrub the potatoes clean and poke some holes in them with a fork.
- Step 3: Rub the potatoes with butter and season with salt and pepper.
- Step 4: Bake the potatoes for 45-60 minutes, or until tender.
- Step 5: While the potatoes are baking, cook the bacon in a pan over medium heat until crispy.
- Step 6: Chop the cooked bacon into small pieces.
- Step 7: When the potatoes are done, remove them from the oven and top each one with shredded cheese, chopped bacon, and scallions.
