Description
A twist on the classic deviled egg, wrapped in crispy bacon and filled with creamy goodness.
Ingredients
- 0.25 cup mayonnaise
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon horseradish
- 6 large eggs
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 tablespoon chives
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: Cut the bacon slices in half and wrap each egg with a piece of bacon, securing with a toothpick if needed.
- Step 3: Place the bacon-wrapped eggs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
- Step 4: While the eggs are baking, mix the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, horseradish, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Step 5: Once the eggs are done, let them cool for a few minutes, then slice them in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks.
- Step 6: Mash the yolks in a bowl and mix with the mayonnaise mixture until smooth.
- Step 7: Spoon the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves, mounding it slightly in the center.
- Step 8: Sprinkle the chopped chives on top of each deviled egg.
- Step 9: Serve immediately.
