Ingredients

  • 12 large scallops
  • 0.25 cup white wine
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 0.5 lemon
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 2 cloves garlic

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Step 2: Cut the bacon slices in half and wrap each scallop with a piece of bacon, securing with a toothpick if needed.
  3. Step 3: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the bacon-wrapped scallops for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bacon is crispy.
  4. Step 4: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the scallops are cooked through.
  5. Step 5: While the scallops are cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
  6. Step 6: Remove the scallops from the oven and place them on a plate. Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top of each scallop and serve immediately.
