Ingredients
- 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.25 cup cilantro
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 pepper jalapeño
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup carrots
- Vegetable oil
- 0.25 cup red onion
- 0.25 cup sour cream
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup red cabbage
- 1 avocado
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound cod fillets
Instructions
- Step 1: In a shallow dish, mix together flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- Step 2: Pour buttermilk into a separate shallow dish.
- Step 3: Dip each piece of fish into buttermilk, then coat in flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- Step 4: Heat about 1/2-inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F.
- Step 5: Fry fish in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Step 6: Drain fish on paper towels.
- Step 7: In a medium bowl, mix together cabbage, carrots, cilantro, and lime juice.
- Step 8: Warm tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.
