Description
Crispy and flavorful BBQ wings with a sweet and tangy sauce
Ingredients
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 0.25 cup butter
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 pounds chicken wings
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: Rinse the chicken wings and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Step 3: In a large bowl, mix together the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Step 4: Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the spice mixture.
- Step 5: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Arrange the wings on the baking sheet in a single layer.
- Step 6: Bake for 30 minutes, then increase the oven temperature to broil (high).
- Step 7: Broil for 5-7 minutes or until the wings are crispy and golden brown.
- Step 8: While the wings are broiling, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Step 9: Add the BBQ sauce and apple cider vinegar to the saucepan and stir to combine.
- Step 10: Remove the wings from the oven and toss them in the BBQ sauce mixture until they are fully coated.
