Description

Ingredients
- 0.25 cup cilantro
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 0.5 teaspoon paprika
- Vegetable oil
- 1 can black beans
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 8 tortillas corn
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned, breaking into small pieces as it cooks.
- Step 3: Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.
- Step 4: Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
- Step 5: Add black beans to the skillet and cook until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 6: Arrange tortillas on a baking sheet and brush with a little oil. Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until crispy and lightly browned.
- Step 7: Assemble tostadas by spooning beef and bean mixture onto a tortilla, followed by a sprinkle of cheese, a sprinkle of cilantro, and a squeeze of lime juice.
- Step 8: Serve immediately and enjoy!
