Description
A classic Chinese-inspired dish with tender beef and crunchy broccoli
Ingredients
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 500 g beef strips
- 1 tablespoon ginger
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- Salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Instructions
- Step 1: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat
- Step 2: Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside
- Step 3: In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- Step 4: Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant
- Step 5: Add the broccoli and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes
- Step 6: Return the beef to the skillet and stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil
- Step 7: Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot
