Description

A classic Chinese-inspired dish with tender beef and crunchy broccoli

Ingredients

  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 500 g beef strips
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat
  2. Step 2: Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside
  3. Step 3: In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  4. Step 4: Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant
  5. Step 5: Add the broccoli and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes
  6. Step 6: Return the beef to the skillet and stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil
  7. Step 7: Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot
