Description
Stir-fried beef and broccoli served with steamed white rice
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cups white rice
- 500 g beef strips
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 3 cups broccoli florets
Instructions
- Step 1: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Step 2: Add beef strips and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Step 3: In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
- Step 4: Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Step 5: Add broccoli florets and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Step 6: Return the cooked beef to the skillet and stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
- Step 7: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 8: Serve the beef and broccoli mixture over steamed white rice.
