Stir-fried beef and broccoli served with steamed white rice

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cups white rice
  • 500 g beef strips
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 3 cups broccoli florets

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Step 2: Add beef strips and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Step 3: In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
  4. Step 4: Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  5. Step 5: Add broccoli florets and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Step 6: Return the cooked beef to the skillet and stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
  7. Step 7: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Step 8: Serve the beef and broccoli mixture over steamed white rice.
