Description

Ingredients
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.25 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Step 2: In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, melted butter, yeast, and vanilla extract.
- Step 3: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Step 4: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the mixture rest for 1 hour in a warm place.
- Step 5: Preheat the waffle iron and grease it with cooking spray.
- Step 6: Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the center of the waffle iron and cook for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.
- Step 7: Repeat with remaining batter, greasing the waffle iron between each use.
