Description
A hearty breakfast platter filled with scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, sausages, and toasted bread
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 eggs
- 4 slices bread
- 6 slices bacon
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 4 sausages
- 1 cup mushrooms
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
- Step 2: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and cook the bacon for 15-20 minutes or until crispy
- Step 3: In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat and cook the sausages until browned, about 5 minutes per side
- Step 4: In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and cook the mushrooms and cherry tomatoes until the vegetables are tender, about 3-4 minutes
- Step 5: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and season with salt and pepper
- Step 6: Pour the egg mixture into a greased skillet and scramble the eggs until cooked through, about 3-4 minutes
- Step 7: Toast the bread until lightly browned
- Step 8: Assemble the platter by placing the scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and toasted bread on a large serving plate
