Description

Ingredients

  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 0.75 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • Lettuce, tomato, and pickles
  • 6 slices bacon

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Step 3: Add buttermilk and stir until dough comes together in a shaggy mass.
  4. Step 4: Turn dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead a few times until it comes together.
  5. Step 5: Roll dough out to 1-inch thickness and use a biscuit cutter or glass to cut out rounds.
