Description

A juicy beef burger topped with crumbled blue cheese, caramelized onions, and fresh thyme

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 sprigs thyme
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 4 slices blue cheese

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well with your hands until just combined
  3. Step 3: Form 4 beef patties, about 120g each
  4. Step 4: Grill the beef patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness
  5. Step 5: Meanwhile, caramelize the onions in olive oil over medium-low heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally
  6. Step 6: Butter the hamburger buns
  7. Step 7: Assemble the burgers by spreading caramelized onions on the bottom bun, followed by a beef patty, a slice of blue cheese, and a sprinkle of thyme
  8. Step 8: Top with the top bun
