Description
A breakfast twist on the classic burger, featuring a beef patty, fried egg, and melted cheddar cheese on a toasted brioche bun
Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 slices tomato
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 buns brioche
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 leaves lettuce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 slices bacon
- 2 large eggs
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well with your hands until just combined
- Step 3: Form 4 beef patties and grill for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness
- Step 4: While the burgers are cooking, toast the brioche buns on the grill or in a toaster
- Step 5: Fry the bacon slices in a pan until crispy, then set aside
- Step 6: Fry the eggs in the same pan, sunny-side up
- Step 7: Assemble the burgers by spreading a slice of cheese on the bottom bun, followed by a cooked beef patty, a few slices of bacon, a fried egg, a lettuce leaf, and a tomato slice
