Description
A twist on traditional fried rice, made with scrambled eggs, savory sausage, and crunchy vegetables.
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1 small onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 cup mixed vegetables
- 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
- 2 patties sausage
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cups rice
Instructions
- Step 1: Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Step 2: Add diced onion and minced garlic and stir-fry until onion is translucent.
- Step 3: Add mixed vegetables and cooked sausage; stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Step 4: Push the vegetable mixture to one side of the pan.
- Step 5: Pour beaten eggs into the empty side of the pan and scramble until cooked through.
- Step 6: Mix eggs with the vegetable mixture.
- Step 7: Add cooked rice to the pan, breaking up any clumps with a spatula.
- Step 8: Stir-fry rice with the vegetable and egg mixture for 5-7 minutes, until everything is well combined and heated through.
- Step 9: Add soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using) and stir-fry for another minute.
- Step 10: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
