Description

A twist on traditional fried rice, made with scrambled eggs, savory sausage, and crunchy vegetables.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 2 patties sausage
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cups rice

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Step 2: Add diced onion and minced garlic and stir-fry until onion is translucent.
  3. Step 3: Add mixed vegetables and cooked sausage; stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Push the vegetable mixture to one side of the pan.
  5. Step 5: Pour beaten eggs into the empty side of the pan and scramble until cooked through.
  6. Step 6: Mix eggs with the vegetable mixture.
  7. Step 7: Add cooked rice to the pan, breaking up any clumps with a spatula.
  8. Step 8: Stir-fry rice with the vegetable and egg mixture for 5-7 minutes, until everything is well combined and heated through.
  9. Step 9: Add soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using) and stir-fry for another minute.
  10. Step 10: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
