Ingredients
- 0.5 cup scrambled eggs
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 12 mushroom caps
- 1 small onion
- Salt and pepper
- 0.5 cup cheddar cheese
- 2 cloves garlic
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Step 2: In a large skillet, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Step 3: In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and cook until translucent. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Step 4: In a large bowl, whisk together the scrambled eggs and a pinch of salt and pepper. Add the cooked onion and garlic mixture, grated cheddar cheese, and crispy bacon. Mix well.
- Step 5: Wipe the mushroom caps clean with a damp cloth and remove the stems. Fill each mushroom cap with the egg mixture, dividing it evenly among the 12 mushrooms.
- Step 6: Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and dot the top of each mushroom with butter.
- Step 7: Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is set.
