Description
Crispy fried chicken strips tossed in spicy buffalo sauce
Ingredients
- 0.5 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- Vegetable oil
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pound chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup flour
Instructions
- Step 1: In a shallow dish, mix together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Step 2: Pour buttermilk into a separate shallow dish.
- Step 3: Dip each chicken strip into buttermilk, then coat in flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- Step 4: Heat about 1/2-inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Step 5: Fry chicken strips in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.
- Step 6: Remove chicken from oil with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Step 7: In a large bowl, toss fried chicken strips with buffalo sauce until fully coated.
