Ingredients

  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • Vegetable oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 cup buttermilk
  • 2 pounds chicken wings

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a large bowl, combine buttermilk, hot sauce, Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Step 2: Add chicken wings to the bowl and marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Step 3: Preheat oil in a deep frying pan to 375°F.
  4. Step 4: In a separate bowl, mix together flour and a pinch of salt.
  5. Step 5: Remove wings from marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge in flour mixture, shaking off excess.
