Description
A classic sushi roll with crab, avocado, and cucumber
Ingredients
- 0.5 avocado
- 1 cup Japanese short-grain rice
- 0.5 cucumber
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 cup crab meat
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 0.5 cup water
- 1 sheet nori (dried seaweed)
- 0.25 cup rice vinegar
Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare sushi rice according to the recipe and let it cool
- Step 2: Cut the avocado and cucumber into thin slices
- Step 3: Lay a sheet of nori flat on a sushi mat
- Step 4: Spread a thin layer of sushi rice onto the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top
- Step 5: Place the avocado and cucumber slices in the middle of the rice
- Step 6: Add the crab meat on top of the avocado and cucumber
- Step 7: Roll the sushi using the mat, applying gentle pressure
- Step 8: Slice the roll into 8 equal pieces
