Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon ginger

  • 0.25 cup cucumber
  • 0.25 cup avocado
  • 1 cup ahi tuna
  • 0.5 cup short-grain white rice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 0.25 cup pickled ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare the sushi rice according to package instructions using 1/2 cup of water.
  2. Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Step 3: Add the ahi tuna to the bowl and toss to coat with the marinade. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Cut the cucumber, carrots, and avocado into small pieces.
  5. Step 5: In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise and sriracha sauce.
