Description

A classic West Coast burger featuring avocado, bacon, and cheddar cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 avocados
  • 4 beef patties
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 large lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 brioche buns
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 0.25 cup red onion
  • black pepper

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Step 2: Cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side. Set aside.
  3. Step 3: Grill the beef patties to desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and let rest.
  4. Step 4: Toast the brioche buns on the grill or in a toaster.
  5. Step 5: Assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise on the bottom bun, followed by a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, a few slices of red onion, a cooked beef patty, a slice of cheese, a few slices of bacon, and finally a slice of avocado. Top with the top bun.
  6. Step 6: Drizzle with Dijon mustard and season with salt and pepper to taste.
