Description
A classic Italian sub sandwich featuring capicola ham, salami, and provolone cheese, served on a crusty sub roll.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces salami
- 1 large onion
- 8 ounces provolone cheese
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 pound capicola ham
- Tomato
- 4 sub rolls rolls
- 1 cup Italian dressing
- Lettuce
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat a panini press or grill to medium-high heat.
- Step 2: Slice the sub rolls in half and toast until lightly browned.
- Step 3: Spread a layer of Italian dressing on the bottom half of each sub roll.
- Step 4: Add a layer of capicola ham, salami, and provolone cheese on top of the dressing.
- Step 5: Add a layer of sliced onion and minced garlic on top of the meats.
- Step 6: Top with the top half of the sub roll.
- Step 7: Place the subs in the panini press or grill and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
- Step 8: Serve immediately and enjoy!
