Description

A classic Italian-inspired sandwich featuring fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil on a crispy bread roll

Ingredients

  • 0.25 cup Fresh Basil leaves
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 4 rolls Ciabatta bread
  • 2 large Tomatoes
  • 8 oz Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat a panini press or grill to medium-high heat
  2. Step 2: Slice the Ciabatta bread rolls in half
  3. Step 3: Layer 2 oz of Fresh Mozzarella cheese on the bottom half of each roll
  4. Step 4: Top the cheese with a slice of Tomato and a few leaves of Fresh Basil
  5. Step 5: Drizzle with Olive oil and season with Salt and Pepper
  6. Step 6: Top with the top half of the bread roll
  7. Step 7: Grill or press the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes, or until crispy and melted
