Description
A classic Italian-inspired sandwich featuring fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil on a crispy bread roll
Ingredients
- 0.25 cup Fresh Basil leaves
- Salt and Pepper
- 4 rolls Ciabatta bread
- 2 large Tomatoes
- 8 oz Mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat a panini press or grill to medium-high heat
- Step 2: Slice the Ciabatta bread rolls in half
- Step 3: Layer 2 oz of Fresh Mozzarella cheese on the bottom half of each roll
- Step 4: Top the cheese with a slice of Tomato and a few leaves of Fresh Basil
- Step 5: Drizzle with Olive oil and season with Salt and Pepper
- Step 6: Top with the top half of the bread roll
- Step 7: Grill or press the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes, or until crispy and melted
