- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until yeast is activated.
- Step 2: Add olive oil, salt, and 2 cups of flour to the bowl. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Step 3: Gradually add the remaining 2 cups of flour, kneading the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Step 4: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Step 5: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Punch down the dough and roll it out into a circle or rectangle shape.
- Step 6: Transfer the dough to a greased pizza pan or baking sheet. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges.
