Description

A classic Philadelphia-style cheesesteak wrapped in a warm flour tortilla

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz ribeye steak
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 large flour tortilla

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Step 2: Add butter and cook until melted.
  3. Step 3: Add sliced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Step 5: Add sliced steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Step 6: Add Worcestershire sauce and dried oregano, and stir to combine.
  7. Step 7: Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Step 8: Warm the flour tortilla in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.

  10. Step 10: Fold the bottom half of the tortilla up over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up to form a tight cylinder.
