Description
A classic Philadelphia-style cheesesteak wrapped in a warm flour tortilla
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 8 oz ribeye steak
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 2 cloves garlic
- 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium onion
- 1 large flour tortilla
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Step 2: Add butter and cook until melted.
- Step 3: Add sliced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Step 4: Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Step 5: Add sliced steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Step 6: Add Worcestershire sauce and dried oregano, and stir to combine.
- Step 7: Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Step 8: Warm the flour tortilla in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.
- Step 9: Assemble the wrap by placing the steak mixture onto the tortilla, followed by shredded cheese.
- Step 10: Fold the bottom half of the tortilla up over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up to form a tight cylinder.
