Description

Ingredients
- 0.75 cup buttermilk
- 0.5 cup butter
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cloves garlic
- 0.75 cup cheddar cheese
- 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 cups flour
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Step 3: Add cold butter and use a pastry blender or fingers to work into flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Step 4: Stir in cheddar and Parmesan cheese, and garlic.
- Step 5: Pour in buttermilk and stir until dough comes together in a shaggy mass.
- Step 6: Turn dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead a few times until it comes together.
- Step 7: Roll out to 1-inch thickness and use a biscuit cutter or glass to cut out rounds.
- Step 8: Gather scraps, re-roll, and cut out additional biscuits.
- Step 9: Place biscuits on prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
