Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups maple syrup
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 lbs chicken breasts
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 4 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Step 2: Pour buttermilk into a separate large bowl.
  3. Step 3: Dip each piece of chicken into the buttermilk, then coat in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
  4. Step 4: Heat 1/2-inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Step 5: Fry the chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
