Description

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 slices ham
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 4 slices baguette
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 egg
- 0.25 cup butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 4 chicken breasts
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Step 2: Butterfly the chicken breasts and season with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Step 3: Place a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast.
- Step 4: Fold the chicken breast in half to enclose the filling.
- Step 5: Dip each chicken breast in the beaten egg and then coat in panko breadcrumbs.
- Step 6: Heat the softened butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Step 7: Sear the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side, then transfer to a baking sheet.
- Step 8: Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
- Step 9: Meanwhile, toast the baguette slices.
