Description

Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ginger
  • 0.5 pounds chicken breasts
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic. Add the chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Step 3: Remove the chicken from the marinade and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with vegetable oil and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  4. Step 4: While the chicken is cooking, steam the mixed vegetables in a steamer basket until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Step 5: Serve the chicken with steamed vegetables and rice.
