Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • 1 can red kidney beans
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 large onion
  • 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 jalapeño pepper
  • 0.25 cup cilantro
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. Step 2: In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned, breaking into small pieces
  3. Step 3: Add diced onion and minced garlic to skillet and cook until onion is translucent
  4. Step 4: Stir in chili powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper, cooking for 1 minute
  5. Step 5: Add diced tomatoes and red kidney beans to skillet, stirring to combine
  6. Step 6: Arrange tortilla chips in a single layer on a large baking sheet
