Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup milk
- 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 0.5 cup butter
- 0.5 cups flour
Instructions
- Step 1: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine sugar, melted butter, egg, milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- Step 3: Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Step 4: Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Step 5: Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Grease with butter or cooking spray if necessary.
- Step 6: Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, scoop the batter onto the skillet or griddle.
