Description
Stir-fried noodles with vegetables and your choice of protein
Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 onion
- 1 cup chicken
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 2 cloves garlic
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup carrots
- 8 oz chow mein noodles
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions and set aside
- Step 2: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat
- Step 3: Add the onion and garlic and stir-fry until the onion is translucent
- Step 4: Add the bean sprouts, cabbage, and carrots, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes
- Step 5: Add the cooked chicken and stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes
- Step 6: Add the cooked noodles, soy sauce, and oyster sauce (if using) to the skillet or wok
- Step 7: Stir-fry everything together for 1-2 minutes, until the noodles are well coated
- Step 8: Season with salt and pepper to taste
