Description

Stir-fried noodles with vegetables and your choice of protein

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 onion
  • 1 cup chicken
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 tsp oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 8 oz chow mein noodles

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions and set aside
  2. Step 2: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat
  3. Step 3: Add the onion and garlic and stir-fry until the onion is translucent
  4. Step 4: Add the bean sprouts, cabbage, and carrots, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes
  5. Step 5: Add the cooked chicken and stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes
  6. Step 6: Add the cooked noodles, soy sauce, and oyster sauce (if using) to the skillet or wok
  7. Step 7: Stir-fry everything together for 1-2 minutes, until the noodles are well coated
  8. Step 8: Season with salt and pepper to taste
