Description

Fresh and creamy dip made with ripe avocados, juicy tomatoes, and a hint of spice

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro leaves
  • 1 pepper jalapeño
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 large tomato
  • 3 avocados
  • 0.5 red bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. Scoop the flesh into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Step 2: Add the diced red onion, chopped jalapeño, red bell pepper, and diced tomato to the bowl with the avocado flesh.
  3. Step 3: Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
  4. Step 4: Use a fork to mash the ingredients together until you reach your desired consistency. Some chunks are okay!
  5. Step 5: Stir in the minced garlic and chopped cilantro leaves.
  6. Step 6: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
