Description
Fresh and creamy dip made with ripe avocados, juicy tomatoes, and a hint of spice
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons cilantro leaves
- 1 pepper jalapeño
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large red onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 large tomato
- 3 avocados
- 0.5 red bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
Instructions
- Step 1: Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. Scoop the flesh into a large mixing bowl.
- Step 2: Add the diced red onion, chopped jalapeño, red bell pepper, and diced tomato to the bowl with the avocado flesh.
- Step 3: Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
- Step 4: Use a fork to mash the ingredients together until you reach your desired consistency. Some chunks are okay!
- Step 5: Stir in the minced garlic and chopped cilantro leaves.
- Step 6: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
