Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 cups potatoes
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 4 sourdough bread bowls
  • 1 pound clams
  • 1 cup clam juice

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Step 2: Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Step 3: Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
