Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 cups sugar
  • 0.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups carrots
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup butter

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Step 3: In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Step 4: Beat in eggs one at a time, then beat in vanilla extract.
