Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 0.5 cup streusel topping
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup cinnamon sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons yeast
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Stir to dissolve yeast, and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Step 2: Add flour, salt, and melted butter to the bowl. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Step 3: Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Step 4: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
