Description
A triple-decker sandwich filled with turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise, served with toasted bread and crispy bacon.
Ingredients
- 4 oz turkey breast
- 2 slices tomato
- 4 slices bacon
- Salt and pepper
- 2 leaves lettuce
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 4 slices whole wheat bread
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat a panini press or grill to medium-high heat.
- Step 2: Cook the bacon slices until crispy, then set aside.
- Step 3: Lay two slices of bread on a flat surface.
- Step 4: Spread a layer of mayonnaise on each bread slice.
- Step 5: Add a slice of turkey breast on top of the mayonnaise.
- Step 6: Add a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, and a few slices of bacon on top of the turkey.
- Step 7: Place the second slice of bread on top of the filling.
- Step 8: Repeat the layers, starting with the bread, mayonnaise, turkey, lettuce, tomato, and bacon.
- Step 9: Top with the final slice of bread.
- Step 10: Grill or press the sandwich for 5-7 minutes or until the bread is toasted and the filling is heated through.
