Description

A triple-decker sandwich filled with turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise, served with toasted bread and crispy bacon.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz turkey breast
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 4 slices bacon
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 leaves lettuce
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 4 slices whole wheat bread

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat a panini press or grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Step 2: Cook the bacon slices until crispy, then set aside.
  3. Step 3: Lay two slices of bread on a flat surface.
  4. Step 4: Spread a layer of mayonnaise on each bread slice.
  5. Step 5: Add a slice of turkey breast on top of the mayonnaise.
  6. Step 6: Add a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, and a few slices of bacon on top of the turkey.
  7. Step 7: Place the second slice of bread on top of the filling.
  8. Step 8: Repeat the layers, starting with the bread, mayonnaise, turkey, lettuce, tomato, and bacon.
  9. Step 9: Top with the final slice of bread.
  10. Step 10: Grill or press the sandwich for 5-7 minutes or until the bread is toasted and the filling is heated through.
