Ingredients
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp onion powder
- 0.5 cup flour
- 0.5 tsp paprika
- 4 fillets catfish
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.25 cup remoulade sauce
Instructions
- Step 1: In a shallow dish, mix together cornmeal, flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Step 2: Pour buttermilk into a separate shallow dish.
- Step 3: Dip each catfish fillet into buttermilk, then coat in cornmeal mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Step 4: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Step 5: Add catfish fillets and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
