Description
Crispy crab cakes filled with jumbo lump crab meat, pan-seared to perfection
Ingredients
- 0.5 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 0.25 cup scallions
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 0.5 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 2 tbsp butter
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 lb crab meat
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
- Step 2: Gently combine crab meat, panko breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper in a medium bowl
- Step 3: Stir in melted butter, garlic, and scallions
- Step 4: Divide mixture into 8 equal portions and shape into patties
- Step 5: Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat
- Step 6: Add crab cakes and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown
- Step 7: Transfer crab cakes to a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, until cooked through
