Description

Crispy wontons filled with a creamy crab and cream cheese mixture, served with a sweet chili sauce

Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup crab meat
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 package round wonton wrappers
  • Vegetable oil
  • 0.25 cup scallions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Sweet chili sauce

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oil in a deep frying pan to 350°F
  2. Step 2: In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, crab meat, scallions, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well combined
  3. Step 3: Lay a wonton wrapper on a clean surface, brush edges with water
  4. Step 4: Place a tablespoon of the crab mixture in the center of the wrapper
  5. Step 5: Fold the wrapper into a triangle, pressing edges to seal
  6. Step 6: Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling
  7. Step 7: Fry the rangoon in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side
  8. Step 8: Drain on paper towels and serve with sweet chili sauce
