Description
Crispy wontons filled with a creamy crab and cream cheese mixture, served with a sweet chili sauce
Ingredients
- 0.5 cup crab meat
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 package round wonton wrappers
- Vegetable oil
- 0.25 cup scallions
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 package cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Sweet chili sauce
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oil in a deep frying pan to 350°F
- Step 2: In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, crab meat, scallions, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well combined
- Step 3: Lay a wonton wrapper on a clean surface, brush edges with water
- Step 4: Place a tablespoon of the crab mixture in the center of the wrapper
- Step 5: Fold the wrapper into a triangle, pressing edges to seal
- Step 6: Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling
- Step 7: Fry the rangoon in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side
- Step 8: Drain on paper towels and serve with sweet chili sauce
