Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 12 oz pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 medium onion

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente
  2. Step 2: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until browned and cooked through
  3. Step 3: Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside, then add the diced onion and cook until translucent
  4. Step 4: Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant
  5. Step 5: Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer
