Description
A rich and creamy soup filled with tender clams, potatoes, and herbs
Ingredients
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 2 medium potatoes
- 1 medium onion
- 1 cup clam juice
- 2 cloves garlic
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 cup milk
- 1 pound clams
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Step 1: Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- Step 2: Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Step 3: Add garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Step 4: Add clams, clam juice, milk, heavy cream, potatoes, thyme, salt, and pepper.
