Ingredients

  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.25 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until they are evenly coated.
  3. Step 3: Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Step 4: Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and caramelized.
  5. Step 5: While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, mix Parmesan cheese, garlic, and panko breadcrumbs in a small bowl.
  6. Step 6: After the Brussels sprouts have roasted for 20-25 minutes, remove them from the oven and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese mixture evenly over the top.
  7. Step 7: Return the Brussels sprouts to the oven and continue roasting for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
