Description

Ingredients
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 4 breasts chicken
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- olive oil
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: Prepare the breading station by placing the flour in one shallow dish, the eggs in another, and the breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese in a third.
- Step 3: Season the flour with salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Step 4: Dip each chicken breast in the flour, then the eggs, and finally the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Step 5: Heat about 1/2 inch of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded chicken breasts until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Step 6: Transfer the fried chicken breasts to a baking dish and spoon marinara sauce over each breast.
- Step 7: Top each breast with a slice of mozzarella cheese.
- Step 8: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
