Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups lettuce
  • 4 breasts chicken
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup red onion
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 0.25 cup pickles
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • Vegetable oil
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a shallow dish, mix together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Step 2: Pour buttermilk into a separate shallow dish.
  3. Step 3: Dip each chicken breast into the buttermilk, then coat in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
  4. Step 4: Heat about 1/2-inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Step 5: Fry the chicken breasts for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Step 6: Drain the chicken on paper towels.
