Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cups lettuce
- 4 breasts chicken
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup red onion
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 0.25 cup pickles
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- Vegetable oil
- 4 hamburger buns
Instructions
- Step 1: In a shallow dish, mix together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Step 2: Pour buttermilk into a separate shallow dish.
- Step 3: Dip each chicken breast into the buttermilk, then coat in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- Step 4: Heat about 1/2-inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Step 5: Fry the chicken breasts for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Step 6: Drain the chicken on paper towels.
- Step 7: Assemble the sandwiches by spreading mayonnaise on the bottom bun, followed by a few slices of lettuce, a tomato slice, a chicken breast, a few slices of red onion, and finally the top bun.
- Step 8: Serve immediately and enjoy!
