Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 fillets cod
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons tartar sauce
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a shallow dish, mix together flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Step 2: Pour panko breadcrumbs into a separate shallow dish.
  3. Step 3: In a third shallow dish, whisk together eggs and buttermilk.
  4. Step 4: Dip each cod fillet into the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, and finally the panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
