Description
A crispy taco wrapped in a warm flour tortilla with seasoned beef, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and shredded cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 cup Shredded Three Cheese Blend
- Salt and Pepper
- 1 packet Taco Seasoning
- 1 head Lettuce
- 0.5 cup Vegetable Oil
- 4 Large Flour Tortillas
- 8 Corn Tortillas
- 2 Large Tomatoes
Instructions
- Step 1: Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.
- Step 2: Once the beef is browned, add the taco seasoning packet (or homemade blend) and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Step 3: Warm the corn tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.
- Step 4: Assemble the crunchwrap by spreading a spoonful of the seasoned beef onto the center of a corn tortilla, followed by a sprinkle of shredded cheese.
- Step 5: Place a large flour tortilla on a flat surface and arrange 2-3 of the beef-filled corn tortillas in the center, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Step 6: Top the beef-filled tortillas with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and a dollop of sour cream.
- Step 7: Fold the bottom edge of the flour tortilla up over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll the crunchwrap into a tight cylinder.
- Step 8: Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the crunchwrap until it is golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Step 9: Drain the crunchwrap on paper towels and serve hot.
