Description

A classic party appetizer consisting of hard-boiled egg halves filled with a creamy mixture of yolk and seasonings

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon horseradish
  • 6 large eggs
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chives
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Cut the eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks to a bowl
  2. Step 2: Mash the yolks with a fork until they are well broken up
  3. Step 3: Stir in the mayonnaise, mustard, horseradish, salt, and pepper until the mixture is smooth and creamy
  4. Step 4: Spoon the yolk mixture evenly into the egg white halves
  5. Step 5: Sprinkle the tops with chopped chives
