Description
A classic party appetizer consisting of hard-boiled egg halves filled with a creamy mixture of yolk and seasonings
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon horseradish
- 6 large eggs
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chives
- 0.25 cup mayonnaise
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Step 1: Cut the eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks to a bowl
- Step 2: Mash the yolks with a fork until they are well broken up
- Step 3: Stir in the mayonnaise, mustard, horseradish, salt, and pepper until the mixture is smooth and creamy
- Step 4: Spoon the yolk mixture evenly into the egg white halves
- Step 5: Sprinkle the tops with chopped chives
- Step 6: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving
